Terms
Plain-English terms of use (EULA).
Last updated · 2026-05-28
These are the Intermittent end-user license agreement (EULA) and terms of service. The Intermittent app and this website are operated by ZeroKB, the parent organisation behind the product. By using the app or this website, you agree to the points below. They are short on purpose. Read them.
Not medical advice
Intermittent is an information and tracking tool, not a medical device. The articles in the library are written for an educated lay reader, and they cite their sources, but they are not a substitute for advice from a doctor, dietitian, or other qualified professional. Do not begin extended fasting (24 hours or more) if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a history of disordered eating, take insulin or other glucose-lowering medication, or have a chronic condition that your doctor has flagged as fasting-sensitive.
Your account, your responsibility
- You're responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.
- You're responsible for the content you post in your circle. Don't post other people's private information, don't harass anyone, don't post medical claims you can't back up.
- We may remove posts and, in serious or repeated cases, accounts that violate these terms.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse
Intermittent has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. This includes — but is not limited to — hate speech, harassment, threats, sexual content, content depicting violence, spam, impersonation, doxing, and anything illegal under applicable law.
- You can flag any post or profile from its ⋯ menu — pick a reason, optionally add a note, and we'll review it.
- You can block any user from their profile. Blocking is bidirectional and silent — they disappear from your view, and you from theirs, with no notification to them.
- We review reports manually and act on objectionable content within 24 hours: the offending content is removed and the user who posted it is ejected from the platform. Repeat or severe violations result in permanent account termination without warning.
What we provide
Intermittent is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind.
We work hard to keep the app running and your data safe, but we
can't guarantee uninterrupted service or that the data sync to
our backend (Supabase, West EU region eu-west-1)
is immune from outages or accidental loss. Keep an export of
your data if it matters to you — the app's profile screen
includes a one-tap export.
Third parties
The app uses Supabase for authenticated sync and Cloudflare to serve this website. We do not embed third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or social tracking pixels. See Privacy for the full accounting.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be surfaced in the app the next time you open it. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, where Intermittent is built. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka. Users in the EU and the UK retain the rights guaranteed by GDPR (or the UK GDPR), which apply regardless of governing law because your account data is stored in Ireland — see Privacy for the full residency note.
